The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties offers individuals with an intellectual or developmental disability the opportunity to succeed in a supportive environment. The services available from The Arc offer individuals the necessary training to acquire the skills needed to fully become an integral part of their community.

Founded in 1953 by a group of concerned parents wanting a fulfilling life for their children, The Arc began in a makeshift classroom at a local park facility. The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties has grown from this small beginning to an organization that covers two counties of the Central Valley. The Arc serves over 600+ individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities with a professional staff of 160+ in 6 program sites.

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties is a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
