*Madera Life Skills Coach, Level 3 (Compensation: $12.00 per hour/Full-Time)

*Will supervise and train individuals with developmental disabilities.
*Plans and implements daily schedules based on consumer’s goals and objectives.
*Assists clients with feeding and toileting if required.
*Development of activities, curriculum, schedules, and vocational procedures with support from Case Manager and Program Manager.
*Documents and chart client progress.

**Requires HS diploma, excellent driving record and a clear criminal record. Will also need to pass TB test, physical and fingerprinting clearance**

Kerman Training Center (Kerman)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Takes direction from supervisors and gives and receive coaching and feedback in the moment and in a positive manner.
-Practices good customer service skills at all times.
-Assists the Case Manager in implementation of the Individual Service Plans (ISP’s)/Individual Habilitation Component (IHC) and provides documentation as directed by the Program Manager.
-Development of activities, curriculum, schedules, and vocational procedures with support from Case Manager and Program Manager
-Picks up and drop off people we support within scheduled time frame.
-Uses computer, word processing, spreadsheet programs, Internet, etc. as needed.
-Accurately and legibly evaluates and charts the individuals’ progress through daily charting and log notes.
-Instructs individuals in appropriate safety procedures. Maintain safety standards in assigned areas.
-Provides supervision at all times.
-Ensures that agency vehicle is maintained, cleaned and serviced per agency policy.
-Accurately and legibly completes all required forms – accident/injury reports, progress reports, production reports, attendance reports, field trips, personnel, etc., within specified time frame.
-Performs any other duties as assigned.
-Must have a valid Driver’s License and clean DMV record.

*Life Skills Coach, Level 11 (Compensation: $14 per hour/Full-Time)

-Provides training for individuals in their residence and/or place of employment to support successful outcomes of independent living and/or competitive integrated employment.
-Provides instruction in the areas of money management, cooking and menu planning, shopping, money management, personal hygiene, sexuality training, and 1 on 1 job coaching specific to the individual’s place of employment.
-Provides support in accessing community resources, such as: Social Services Department, Social Security Administration, banks, grocery stores, shopping malls, mental health services, health care providers, etc.
-Provides instruction/training specific to the individual’s personal goals based on their Individual Service Plan. Training will be provided in different methodologies, such as: verbal, physical, and hand over hand demonstrations.
-Responsible for writing and implementing meaning and attainable goals to ensure client’s growth.
-Records and maintains accurate electronic case file.
-Maintain required documentation and turn them in accurately and timely, such as: billing, monthly schedules, mileage documentation, program data collection, client tracking.
-Completes 30 day, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual paperwork and submits to outside agencies as needed.

Production Manager – Heartland Training Center/Madera (The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties)

The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties – Heartland Training Center provides vocational services to developmentally disabled adults. Clients participating in the program will be provided with the necessary services, supports and follow-up to ensure job retention, job satisfaction, maximum earnings and employer satisfaction. Each client will have personalized goals specific… to conduct, productivity, job duties and responsibilities and employer expectations. Training and support will be provided that is designed to assist each client in maintaining employment retention and achieving career goals with the highest level of success.

Essential Duties and responsibilities for the Production Manager include: Responsible for managing a program which include 5 staff and 60 developmentally disabled adults. Assures that the production program is meeting contracts/policies guidelines. Hire, train, coach, evaluate, discipline and terminate program staff Provides direct service duties as needed in order to meet the needs of the client and/or programs and customer contracts. Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility and assigned vehicles Responsible for the purchase, use and maintenance of tools and program supplies Ensures that case management services are administered according to agency standards through the work of the Case Manager. Spends time on production floor to ensure proper client interactive training is performed by staff. Maintains on-going contacts with customers.

Job Requirements for the Program Manager include: Associate’s Degree from an accredited college or university Requires 2 years minimum of supervision and 2 years minimum experience in a production setting One to two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires experience in a production or warehouse setting, forklift certified. Prefer individual with mechanical inclination. Prefer individual with developmental disability experience. Position requires experience with computers software such as: Windows, Word and Excel. Must possess valid California Driver’s License, reliable transportation, auto insurance, and good driving record. Must be able to pass drug screen and criminal record tests.
