Direct Care Staff / Life Skills Coach 1 (Compensation: $11.00 per hour)

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager & Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential, and foster their independence in a positive and caring manner. Completes required documentation. The Life Skills Coach 1 would also be responsible for providing personal care and hygiene needs for the individuals we serve. This includes: attending to restroom needs, feeding, and assistance with ambulation. Prefer individuals with experience using equipment such as a Hoyer Lift, Changing Beds, and Gait Belts.

Life Skills Coach 3 (Compensation: $12.00 per hour)

MADERA

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager and Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential. Provide care, supervision, instruction, and/or job coaching for the individuals we serve. Use the established methodology for achieving client goals and track progress. Development of activities, curriculum, schedules, and vocational procedures with support from Case Manager and Program Manager. Assist the Case Manager in the implementation of the Individual Service Plans and Individual Habilitation Component, and provides documentation as directed by the Program Manager. Assists with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation needs as necessary. Takes direction from supervisors and gives/receives coaching and feedback in the moment in a positive manner. Practices good customer service skills at all times.

Case Manager (Compensation: $16.00 per hour)

KERMAN

This position is in KERMAN.

The Case Manager will provide case management services, counseling, intervention, and implementation of client plans to assist in developing, maintaining, increasing, and maximizing independent functioning in the skill areas identified in the Individual Habilitation Component and Individual Service Plan. The Case Manager is authorized to schedule, conduct, and document all meetings pertaining to clients, train all line staff on proper documentation and methodology, and supervisory authorities determined by the Program Manager. The Case Manager creates and implements ISP and IHC reports. Provides individual/group information in the areas of vocational, personal, and/or social adjustment, and assures that all forms required by referral sources are completed. The Case Manager is also charged with writing and following through with the objectives and methodologies to ensure clients’ growth. There is a necessity to use a personal vehicle for this role occasionally. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Must have excellent time management, organization, and follow through. The Case Manager must be able to compute basic math, proficient with Microsoft Suite, and must possess the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. 

Education/Experience: Associates Degree and/or 1-2 years related experience.

Human Resources Assistant (Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour)

FRESNO
  • Prepares and posts job openings internally and externally.
  • Recruits new talent via social media, professional networks, or other approved means when there is an open position.
  • Attends job fairs, SHRM, or other professional networking events and appropriately represents The Arc of Fresno/Madera Counties.
  • Maintains social media sites in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Communicates frequently with job applicants and assists them through the application process.
  • Coordinates and schedules physical, drug screens, background checks and fingerprint screening for new hires and current employees.
  • Facilitates and conducts new hire orientation with each new hire.
  • Assists new hires with paperwork and benefit eligibility.
  • Verifies new hires work eligibility through the Department of Homeland Security within 3 business days.
  • Enters new hire information in the human resources information system (HRIS).
  • Processes transfers, promotions, and demotions in the HRIS, including adjusting pay rates within one day of the effective date in an accurate manner.
  • Enters wage garnishment orders into the HRIS and responds to the creditor in a timely fashion.
  • Processes terminations in the HRIS, CaseMagic, benefit carriers in a timely fashion.
  • Processes leaves of absence (FMLA, ADAAA, Vacation, Sick, Etc.) in the HRIS within one day of the effective date.
  • Manages employee benefit enrollment process, process any modifications to coverage, and assist with open enrollment.
  • Manages personnel records in the document management software and ensure compliance with company policy and legal requirements.
  • Processes employment verifications in a timely manner.

Accounting Technician (Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour)

FRESNO

Under direction, performs a variety of technical accounting duties including accounts receivable and payable. Prepare and submit customer invoices, monitor customer accounts for nonpayment and delayed payment, perform all necessary account, bank, and other reconciliations, check, verify, and process A/P invoices, analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices.  Update, verify, and maintain accounting journal and ledgers, assist in month end reporting procedures, find and use accounting data to resolve accounting problems and discrepancies.  Perform filing and general administrative tasks.  Liaise with other departments/customers/vendors.  Cross train with other staff in the department.  Duties and assignment may overlap depending on the operational needs of the department and staffing levels.
