The Program Manager is to administer and monitor all aspects of the daily operation of the program and to ensure that the goals and objectives for each client enrolled in the program are addressed through the delivery of quality services/case management. The Program Manager is authorized to hire, train, coach, evaluate, discipline, and terminate program staff. Furthermore s/he is authorized to take appropriate and prudent action in emergency situations, conduct weekly program trainings, and conduct staff meetings. The Program Manager is also responsible for developing and maintaining various systems to monitor and track petty cash, keys, passcodes, supplies, and curriculum. The Program Manager is also responsible for completing site visits/ spends time in classroom to ensure proper client interactive training is performed by staff. Ensures open and consistent communication with internal and external people. There is a necessity to drive a personal vehicle.

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A/B.S) in Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Sociology or related field preferred.

Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years Management/Supervisory experience. Nonprofit experience preferred. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Direct Care Staff / Life Skills Coach 1 (Compensation: $11.00 per hour)

Job Description:

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager & Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential, and foster their independence in a positive and caring manner. Completes required documentation. The Life Skills Coach 1 would also be responsible for providing personal care and hygiene needs for the individuals we serve. This includes: attending to restroom needs, feeding, and assistance with ambulation. Prefer individuals with experience using equipment such as a Hoyer Lift, Changing Beds, and Gait Belts.

Case Manager (Compensation: $16.00 per hour)

Fresno | Madera

The Case Manager will provide case management services, counseling, intervention, and implementation of client plans to assist in developing, maintaining, increasing, and maximizing independent functioning in the skill areas identified in the Individual Habilitation Component (IHC) and the Individual Service Plan (ISP). The Case Manager is authorized to schedule, conduct, and document all meetings pertaining to clients, train all line staff on proper documentation and methodology, and supervisory authorities determined by the Program Manager. The Case Manager creates and implements ISPs and IHCs reports. Provides individual/group information in the areas of vocational, personal, and/or social adjustment, and assures that all forms required by referral sources are completed. The Case Manager is also charged with writing and following through with the implementation of meaningful and attainable objectives and methodologies to ensure clients’ growth. There is a necessity to use a personal vehicle for this role. You will be required to conduct routine site visits to clients’ homes and work-sites. Must have valid driver’s license and insurance. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred. Must have excellent time management, organization, and follow through.

Associates Degree

1-2 years related experience, or experience equivalent if no Associates.

Job Description:

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager and Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential. Provide care, supervision, instruction, and/or job coaching for the individuals we serve. Use the established methodology for achieving client goals and track progress. Development of activities, curriculum, schedules, and vocational procedures with support from Case Manager and Program Manager. Assist the Case Manager in the implementation of the Individual Service Plans and Individual Habilitation Component, and provides documentation as directed by the Program Manager. Assists with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation needs as necessary. Takes direction from supervisors and gives/receives coaching and feedback in the moment in a positive manner. Practices good customer service skills at all times.
