Part Time Administrative Assistant (Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour)


The Part Time Administrative Assistant will assist the Program Manager in time keeping, Documentation; including filing, scanning, and written documentation, Community Care Licensing Research, shopping, light cleaning, facilitating staff training, typing; including general clerical work. The PT Administrative Assistant will also be responsible for answering a multiple phone line system. The PT Administrative Assistant orders office supplies, processes mail; to include receiving/routing/sending, and welcomes on-site visitors.

This position will require the candidate to use their personal vehicle to travel approximately 10% of the time. Valid CA Driver’s License and Insurance is mandatory.

Direct Care Staff / Life Skills Coach 1 (Compensation: $11.00 per hour)


Job Description:

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager & Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential, and foster their independence in a positive and caring manner. Completes required documentation. The Life Skills Coach 1 would also be responsible for providing personal care and hygiene needs for the individuals we serve. This includes: attending to restroom needs, feeding, and assistance with ambulation. Prefer individuals with experience using equipment such as a Hoyer Lift, Changing Beds, and Gait Belts.

Landscape Crew Supervisor / Life Skills Coach 7 (Compensation: $13.00/ per hour)


The Life Skills Coach 7 in the Madera Production Center will provide hands-on training and supervision to individuals with developmental disabilities (clients) working on crews in the community while ensuring that all assigned contract work is satisfactorily competed, and document their progress toward identified goals, as required by the program. The Life Skills Coach 7 will be facilitating all aspects of employment for the clients, providing necessary training, provides documentation; including the tracking of goals and objectives, training and overseeing clients to ensure proper and safe operation of assigned equipment. The Life Skills Coach 7 will also train and oversee clients to ensure proper use of service techniques (landscape). The Life Skills Coach 7 will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and complete records regarding client time, log notes, and tracking. The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 7am to 3pm.

Requirements: Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, AND some landscaping experience.

Director of Program Services (Compensation: DOE)


We are searching for a full-time exempt Director of Program Services to join our Leadership team. We specialize in providing services that educate, employ, and enrich the lives of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Position Summary:

The Director of Program Services will provide administrative leadership, direction, and support of assigned programs to ensure the fiscal responsibility, technical reporting, an effectiveness of quality services and supports administered through The Arc Fresno/Madera Counties Adult Day and Community Integration Programs. The Director of Program Services is also charged with upholding, demonstrating, and fostering our mission, vision, and values in every interaction.

The Director of Program Services would recruit, train, review performance, and discipline assigned Program Managers. Oversees and coordinates the quality delivery of services in the areas of: case record management, Case Manager training and oversight of Case Management procedures and curriculum development.

The Director of Program Services is charged with ensuring that all licensing and funding source requirements are met and appropriate reports are submitted to regulatory/referral agencies.

The Director of Program Services oversees Behavior Intervention Services (BIS), collaborates with consultants/BCBA, and supervises personnel of The Arc in the design, implementation, and evaluation of behavior intervention plans and related services.


As the Director of Program Services, you would oversee five Program Managers in five licensed facilities throughout the Central Valley including, Fresno, Madera, Reedley, and Kerman.


  • Bachelor’s Degree form a four-year accredited college or university in Rehabilitation or Social Services and/or three to five years of experience in disability services management. Specifically, behavioral programs. A Master’s Degree is preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.
  • Experience with a case management software.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Familiarity with Community Care Licensing Requirements.

Other Prerequisites:

  • The Director of Program Services must possess a valid California Driver’s License, valid vehicle insurance, and have reliable transportation, as this person will be travelling up to 30% of the time with mileage reimbursed.
  • After an offer is made, you will need to be cleared with the California Department of Justice and the FBI via LiveScan, pass a Drug Screen, TB Test, and a Physical.
