Direct Care Staff / Life Skills Coach 3 (Compensation: $12.00 per hour)

Position Summary:

Responsible for supervision and training of individuals with developmental disabilities. Works closely with Case Manager and Program Manager to assist individuals in the development of their skills to their full potential. Provide care, supervision, instruction, and/or job coaching for the individuals we serve. Use the established methodology for achieving client goals and track progress. Development of activities, curriculum, schedules, and vocational procedures with support from Case Manager and Program Manager. Assist the Case Manager in the implementation of the Individual Service Plans and Individual Habilitation Component, and provides documentation as directed by the Program Manager. Assists with personal hygiene, toileting, feeding, and ambulation needs as necessary. Takes direction from supervisors and gives/receives coaching and feedback in the moment in a positive manner. Practices good customer service skills at all times.

Qualifications/Experience Requirements:

Prefer three to six months of related experience working closely with developmentally disabled individuals or special populations. Willingness to work with individuals that have behaviors. Valid driver’s license and good driving record. 

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma, or GED. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Accounts Payable Clerk (Compensation: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour)

Fresno

Position Summary:

Under direction, performs a variety of technical accounting duties including accounts receivable, invoices and billing. Classify and code revenues for entry and post appropriate records. Duties and assignment may overlap depending on the operational needs of the department and staffing levels. Uphold the company philosophy of the Basic Principles of a Collaborative Workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Calls and/or mails correspondence to vendors as necessary in order to update accounts.
  • Responsible for all Financial Management Services (FMS) payments
  • Codes and enters accounts payable invoices into accounting system
  • Prints “accounts payable” report for review by the Finance Director and Executive Director
  • Prepares accounts payable checks each Thursday to be mailed no later than Friday
  • Maintains all accounts payable files
  • Reconciles accounts payable statements and communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies
  • Maintains W-9 files for preparation and accurate reporting of 1099’s
  • Keep accurate records in accordance with company standards
  • Perform all other office tasks

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in billing, finance, or other related fields
  • Experience in data entry
  • Knowledge of standard accounting procedures
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Must possess a valid California Driver’s License and applicable auto insurance.

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Diploma and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associates Degree and/or Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or Related field preferred.
