Hey friends and family! We’re excited to be opening the doors to our new building in the next few weeks! A lot of questions have come in regarding the move, so we wanted to give a quick update that hopefully answers some of the questions you may have.
The new building is located on Ashlan, just west of 168. It is named The Loewen Acheivement Center, named in memory of our long-time friend, supporter, advocate and Board Member Carl Loewen. His son Doug continues to attend our programs today. We are relocating two of our programs – Community Integrated Program (CIP) and Blythe Training Center (BTC) – to the new location.
Our new 15,000 square foot, state-of-the-art building will allow us to provide the same great services and programs that you are used to, with a few enhancements. As you can see from the gallery below, many of the facilities and amenities have been enhanced to provide our clients with a more comfortable, more interactive and more engaging experience. We also intend to bring in community educators and guest teachers who will use our new classrooms equipped with smart boards and more space, giving our clients more variety of interesting topics. Stay connected with us for more info on this in the coming months.
Open House/Ribbon Cutting on April 28th!
All programs should be fully transitioned to the new location by the middle of March. Please let us know if you have any questions or comments. Let us know what you think!
